Yes, the long awaited results are in from our fiercely fought, highly contested "Name our plant, Win a Snuggie" contest. Although it was a tight race in the beginning, the winning name pulled ahead to a victory Secretariat would have been proud of.

Judged by an panel of 7 mostly-coherent Zone 5 staff from different departments, points were given for the top 5 choices with Rubberstiltiskin finishing with 17 points – seven points above its closest challenger. And it appears that Plant...I mean, Rubberstilskin, approves of its new name as it has sprung a plethora of new branches since learning of its new alias.

The brain behind the winning selection is Ken Hocker, a designer from Stamford, Connecticut. The invitation is out for Ken to be a guest of honor at an upcoming Zone 5 cookout, but we're sure he did it all for the Snuggie.
