Cheeseburger Cheeseburger!

Zone 5 kicks off the 2010 soup season with beef and cheese and more beef...and even more cheese...

With a busy end to the 2009 work year, Zone 5's annual winter Wednesday soup days got a later start than usual. However, to make up for the lost time, we decided to bring in the new season with a cheesy explosion. And that we did!

The culinary team of Hook and Conlin teamed up to present Cheeseburger Soup and Cheeseburger Sliders for the Zone 5 staff to enjoy. As our team has grown in size (numbers, that is) while our last few soup seasons have come and gone, for this year's efforts we decided to take the burden off one one staffer and combine the efforts of two, either with a soup and sandwich combo or with two different soups.

Our second soup Wednesday of the season sent us south of the border for some Taco Soup and Mini Burritos, courtesy of the cooking tandem of Wohlleber and Georgi. As we've enjoyed two soup days so far this winter, the teamwork idea has proven itself on target.
