Zone 5 lands two finalists in 2010 AMA Mark of Excellence Awards

July 2, 2010

Zone 5 has been recognized by the New York Capital Region Chapter of the American Marketing Association for two projects: the "How Brooklyn Stays Healthy" Campaign for longtime client, The Brooklyn Hospital Center and the "Meet GenSys Blue" Campaign for Plug Power. The firm's entries were recognized as two of the ten total finalists for the 2010 Mark of Excellence Awards.

The “How Brooklyn Stays Healthy” campaign offered an opportunity to fully energize the positioning of The Brooklyn Hospital Center. In order to relate the hospital's  commitment to the community, Zone 5 developed messaging that featured a variety of former patients and demonstrated The Brooklyn Hospital Center's breadth of  experience and compassion when it came to patient care. Creative was featured in billboard, bus/subway transit and print media via a mix of community newspapers.

Zone 5 helped Plug Power launch a new product with it's "Meet GenSys Blue" campaign. This campaign helped create awareness of Plug Power's new technology as well as attract new suppliers, development partners, distributors and government agencies.

Each year, since 1995, the Albany Chapter of the American Marketing Association has presented the Mark of Excellence Awards. This year's ceremony will take place on October 6, 2010, at the Albany Crowne Plaza.
