Pasta Fagioli
- 2-3 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 1 medium-large onion, chopped
- olive oil (enough to fry onion + garlic in)
- 3 cans (32oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 can (32oz.) water
- 2 cans (16-20oz.) Cantellini or white beans, drained
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- dash of red pepper flakes
- pasta of your choice (Ditaloni work for me)

Fry garlic and onion in olive oil until soft. Add tomato sauce, water and seasonings. Let it come to a boil then simmer for a few minutes. Add drained beans and let simmer another 15-20 minutes. Add cooked pasta before serving.
