Zone 5 Spearheads NY Loves Nanotech Exhibition at the Boston MRS Show
Albany, NY — Zone 5, a marketing communications agency specializing in the strategic branding and marketing of technology companies and economic development initiatives, is spearheading the upcoming NY Loves Nanotech exhibition (www.NYLovesNano.com) at the Materials Research Society (MRS) show in Boston from Nov. 29-Dec. 1, 2005 (see list below for participating companies). The MRS Show (www.MRS.org) will present forty-two technical symposia exploring the latest trends in advanced materials research and development, and will showcase exhibits by technology companies from around the world.
NY Loves Nanotech is a consortium of economic development groups, academia and technology companies that first joined forces in 2003 to promote Tech Valley to the technology industry. The Center for Economic Growth (CEG) developed the unique collaborative model behind NY Loves Nanotech, and provides leadership and vital resources to the group.
Todd Mosher, President of Zone 5, is serving as the marketing coordinator of the NY Loves Nanotech exhibit at the MRS show and will be on-site to ensure the successful integration of all the Capital Region organizations participating under the NY Loves Nanotech brand umbrella. “The success of NY Loves Nanotech is driven by all of the partners coming together to put their collective marketing power behind Tech Valley,” said Mr. Mosher. “CEG was right on the mark when it realized that the successful promotion of the region would be multiplied if industry, academia, and government worked together. The sum of the whole is greater than all of the individuals involved.”
Zone 5 was instrumental in bringing together the consortium’s executive level decision makers to agree upon the marketing messaging, approach, positioning, and visual branding of the NY Loves Nanotech campaign. Once consensus was reached, Zone 5 went on to produce all of the collateral, exhibit, and promotional materials used to launch the brand.
Zone 5’s technology clients include Integrated Liner Technologies, Albany NanoTech, E2TAC, X-Ray Optical Systems, Fala Technologies, CVD/First Nano, Arcadia, and GridApp Systems, among others.
